Nearly every pro-level road bike race is now won on electronic shifting. How is that relevant to mountain bikers? Well, Shimano has extended its range of electronic shifting options, which means that, in the very near, future, more and more of us mountain bikers will be riding on electronic gears, too.

If it sounds like electronic shifting might be a bit of a tech overload, don’t fear – Neil is here with an in-depth comparison across various factors. If you’d like to know more about an aspect of Di2, make sure you comment below as we’ll be doing a follow-up on GMBN Tech very soon.
